Presenting the service standard consultation with Jonny Feldman today.
Not a massive turnout but an interesting discussion about the standards and the extent to which how things are provided may matter to people as much as what is provided.
The main issue was largely (though not entirely) around the proximity of service delivery to those using the service. I think we need to be clearer about the benefits from bringing things together – not just the greater efficiency but actually how we can make services better for people.
Some food for thought then.
