We are pleased to invite initial Expressions of Interest from staff\/teams who are interested in being selected by the University as a 2022 nominee for Advance HE\u2019s National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) or the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE).<\/span><\/p>\n

Could you become a National Teaching Fellow?<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

Do you get lots of positive feedback from your students and\/or colleagues? Have you had notable successes in your teaching practice? Do you influence your colleagues or your profession\/discipline beyond SHU? If you can show evidence of these things you may have a claim to excellence. Individual staff wishing to be considered as a university nominee for a National Teaching Fellow (NTF) award<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Are you part of a high performing team?
\n<\/strong>The\u00a0Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE)<\/strong>\u00a0celebrates collaborative work in teaching and learning and captures the creative and innovative practice that positively impacts on the student experience. Teams wishing to be considered as a university nominee for the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE)<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

For both awards your context is taken into account regarding the range and scope of impact you can be expected to have. This means that these awards open to those working in non-teaching academic and professional roles as well as those working in academic roles.<\/span><\/p>\n
