\"\"<\/a>This series of lunchtime seminars<\/a> is intended for post-grad students, academics and researchers from a broad range of departments and disciplines to come and discuss why they might include children and young people in their research and how they could go about doing so. The seminars are informed by the latest ethical principles of the university.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday 13th April 12-1pm: <\/strong>Why include children in research?<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday 20th April 12-1pm: <\/strong>Collaboration or exploitation? An introduction to the ethics<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday 27th April 12-1pm: <\/strong>Procedural ethics: ensuring you have the correct procedural ethics in place<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday 4th May 12-1pm: <\/strong>Ethics in practice: ethical complexities of research with young children<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday 11th May 12-1pm: <\/strong>Participatory research methods with young children part 1: Interviews<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday 18th May 12-1pm: <\/strong>Participatory research methods with young children part II: Visual methods and digital methods<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday 25th May 12-1pm: <\/strong>Sharing experiences and forging connections<\/span><\/p>\n

The seminars will be conducted on Zoom and consist of short presentations and workshop activities to enable participants to identify and explore the ethical opportunities and issues associated with including children in research within their own fields of study.<\/span><\/p>\n
