Course Leading a new collaborative Apprenticeship (our Story)<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

Louise Povey, <\/b>Senior Lecturer in Policing, Course Leader Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship, Law & Criminology, SSA and <\/span>Sgt Tom Ashley, <\/b>South Yorkshire Police.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sheffield Hallam and South Yorkshire Police are now delivering a brand new and exciting Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship programme for student officers joining the police without a degree. In this Course Leader Fest 2020 session, colleagues had an opportunity to come and listen and ask questions about the challenges and successes of course leading collaboratively. <\/span>Take a look at the <\/span>session presentation slides<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The University has commenced a Degree Apprenticeship for Police Constables. South Yorkshire Police, a regionally based, public sector employer is set to become our biggest Apprenticeship client yet.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are sub-contracting some of the delivery back to the employer, so the relationships are complex. Meanwhile OfSTED are now the External Quality Assurance body for all Apprenticeships.
