and where to find data and insight about your course.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><b>Claire Walsh, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Head of Academic Development &amp; Inclusivity, <\/span><b>Lizzie Morgan, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Strategy and Policy Manager, Strategy, Policy and Insight and <\/span><b>Simon Reade, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Insight &amp; Intelligence Manager, Strategy, Policy and Insight.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">68% of all and 71% of new students at Hallam in 2018\/19 were from groups who have been defined as \u201cunderrepresented in higher education\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Last year the Office for Students, who regulate HE in England, launched a \u201cbold new approach\u201d to Access and Participation to achieve: \u201ctransformational change\u2026[so that] future generations have equal opportunities to access and succeed in higher education (HE), and to achieve successful and rewarding careers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Participants were given an overview on and encouraged to read:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">HE policy around access and participation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Sheffield Hallam\u2019s five-year plan to add our largest inequalities<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Refer to Academic Essentials &#8211;
