Careers Fair, Class of 2021 Offer and Placement Week<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Placement Action Week<\/strong> <\/span>
\n<\/span>8th – 12th March 2021<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We know how important work experience is to the development of our students. As part of our support, we are holding a dedicated Placement Action Week for students, starting on Monday 8 March. The week is aimed at helping students to prepare, find and stand out, when applying and interviewing for a placement.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The week will focus on encouraging our students to be proactive, build their resilience, explore all options and think about the skills they want to build during their placement. <\/span>Each day students can expect to see videos from our student reps and employability advisers, attend daily drop-in sessions and join workshops.\u00a0 <\/span>Students can get involved on our Placement Action Week<\/a> page.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

16th and 17th March 2021<\/strong> – 10am – 4pm.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Virtual Careers Fair is an opportunity for students to meet employers online and learn more about the opportunities available, from internships and placements to graduate jobs. \u00a0For first and second year students,\u00a0it\u2019s good to start looking at what\u2019s out there if they are undertaking a placement. Final year students can learn more about the opportunities for graduate jobs and internships. In addition, students can learn about a particular industry or company that they may be interested in working for in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students can find out about a company by talking directly to an employer in a one-on-one ten minute appointment and\/or attend group talks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Careers and Employability Service are also running \u2018Prepare for the Fair\u2019 workshops<\/a> on Wednesday 10th March<\/strong> to support students in making the most of the fair and their conversations with employers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of our package of support for final year undergraduate and postgraduate students we are running a series of career focused workshops throughout March.<\/span><\/p>\n

In these workshops, students can find out about making the most of our Virtual Careers Fair, learn how to be successful in their online recruitment process and hear the views of employers and graduates for graduating in 2021.\u00a0 <\/span>For info and to register\u00a0on UniHub<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The \u2018Class of 2021\u2019 offer<\/a><\/strong> <\/span>gives final year students access to a huge range of activities, resources and\u00a0 services. They will help students get noticed by graduate employers and find a job, hone their skills and aid their wellbeing. \u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
