Course leaders, administrators and academic advisors were added to these Teams, along with the students on the course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">The course cohort Teams, provide an opportunity for student to student communication and discussion, as well as an option for staff to communicate with students. Student reps can communicate with their peers via these Teams and students can also set up group chats and hold video calls using the Meet Now functionality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Did you know? Use the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>@TeamName<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0mention in a post will send all members of that Team a notification and for those who haven\u2019t used MS Teams, it will email them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.ac.uk\/digital-skills\/online-learning\/teams\">Information for students about MS Teams<\/a>\u00a0is available on the Hallam Digital Skills pages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sheffieldhallam.sharepoint.com\/sites\/4042\/\">The Digital Skills Hub<\/a>\u00a0has been set up to provide staff with the information they need to use a variety of applications including Microsoft Teams.
