Carol\u2019s is a compelling story and an example of how it\u2019s possible to overcome the barriers faced by many in our society to forge out a highly successful career. We hope the event will inspire both our staff and students to progress their own careers, as well as identifying any barriers to inclusive career progression that our University may need to respond to.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">It is vital that the series addresses a broad range of EDI themes and protected characteristics &#8211; with intersectionality as a key theme.
