Course Leadership: Development Programme<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

With such a pivotal role in the\u00a0<\/span>University<\/span>\u00a0your development matters<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>This is a course leadership<\/a> development programme that runs throughout the academic year<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>You\u2019ll<\/span>\u00a0learn\u00a0<\/span>along with<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>your peers, have a tailored programme that explores leading through influence<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0inclusive practice, course management and the academic cycle, having difficult conversations, evaluation and celebrating your successes.<\/span> \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Module Leadership<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

External Examining<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

We offer two\u00a0<\/span>courses for staff on External Examining<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>A half-day workshop that explores the steps involved in securing an\u00a0<\/span>external examining<\/span>\u00a0role\u00a0<\/span>and the nationally accredited Advance HE\u00a0<\/span>professional development course for external examiners.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hallam Aspire<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

This programme aims to provide opportunities for those who identify as a women (including transwomen and non-binary people comfortable in a female centred community) academics to understand and navigate the Teaching\/Reader Professorial route.
