Opportunity to join a gender-based Hallam Guild Group and research cluster

Dr Melanie Levick-Parkin is a Senior Lecturer in Design at Sheffield Hallam.

Mel is leading both a Hallam Guild Group and an application for a new research cluster with an initial focus on women’s visual and material public voice. 

The group developed from within a design context, but the aim is to conceptualise the theme broadly and Mel is keen to hear from people from all academic disciplines who have an interest in how gendered power relations materialise in the public domain in order to develop discussions, projects and research bids.
