Today: How can Academic Advising support student engagement and development?

Academic Advisers are a key support for Course Leaders and can help ensure that there is a good overview of how the cohort is settling in and engaging particularly during remote delivery. In this session participants reviewed the requirements of Academic Advising, provided with a video case study of a course where embedding Academic Advising supports the Course Leader role and a group discussion of how Academic Advising can support student engagement with their learning.
