Professor and Associate Professor Progression 2020/21 

The 2020/21 Professor/Associate Professor application process is now underway.

Applications are particularly welcome from BAME colleagues and/or women, who are both under-represented at this level.

To apply, you must submit a Statement of Intent by 4 December 2020 with the deadline for full applications later, 28 February 2021.

Please read the guidance in full and discuss your intent to apply with the appropriate senior leaders. If you are considering applying, you are also strongly encouraged to attend the Applying for Professor or Associate Professor workshop on Wednesday 16 December.

Colleagues aspiring to become professors, based specifically on an outstanding contribution to Teaching and Learning, are also invited to attend the Professors in Preparation workshop on Thursday 3 December, even if you don’t intend to apply this year.
