Supporting black, Asian and minority ethnic students during the coronavirus crisis

This online event will explore key areas of support needed for black, Asian and minority ethnic students during the coronavirus crisis, using Dr Gurnam Singh’s briefing ‘Supporting BAME students during the COVID-19 crisis’ to stimulate discussion on these areas. Further information/booking
Decolonising the Curriculum Conference 2020 (online)

This annual event is a student-led initiative putting students in the driver’s seat on the discussion of views, ideas, and focuses around what it means and what it takes to decolonise the curriculum, for students and with students.
We also have spaces available on our own university Narrowing the Gaps CPD sessions during June and July:
- Language and terminology – Wednesday 3rd June, 14:00 – 15:00
- Conversations about race – Thursday 11th June, 10:00 – 11:30
- Inclusive Curriculum – Friday 19th June, 14:00 – 15:30
- Recognising/minimising micro-aggressions – Wednesday 8th July, 14:00- 15:30
