News: Blackboard updates
The following articles are part of a series explaining changes introduced as part of this year’s Blackboard rollover:
New Blackboard Module Site Home Page Channels
We are automatically adding a series of new channels to all 2019/20 Blackboard module site home pages. These channels provide both students and staff with a consistent set of important information about that module directly from data held in the student record system, SITS, as well as providing useful information and resources to help your students and highlight student voice opportunities. What goes here? New pop-up guidance in sections of Blackboard module sites
Each section of a Blackboard module site has pop-up guidance to help you prepare your Blackboard sites in line with the University’s Threshold Standards for Supporting Learning with Technology. This guidance provides information about what that section of the Blackboard module site is intended for, and offers suggestions and ideas for what content should be included or how a tool might be used effectively, along with links to further detailed guidance or ‘how to’ help.
