The University provides a range of collaboration tools for use by staff to support their roles within the University. These include:

  • Blackboard Learn – Blogs, Wikis
  • Blackboard Collaborate – Virtual Classroom, Video conferencing
  • SharePoint – Documents
  • Google Docs – Documents, surveys
  • Google Sites – Web sites
  • Google Blogger – Blogs
  • Google Hangouts – Chat, Video Conferencing
  • WordPress – Blogs
  • Skype – Instant Messaging, Chat and Video Conferencing
  • Spark – Instant Messaging and Chat
  • PebblePad – eportfolio

The SLS Technology and Enhanced Learning team (TEL) have produced a menu of teaching approaches and the technologies that can support them. The menu gives information about how you can identify an appropriate tool for learning and teaching.
