FUTURE SPACES: Hallam’s proposed 37-storey tower will be Sheffield’s tallest building

The University is seeking partners and investors for a Sheffield City Gateway proposal to redevelop the former Nelson Mandela Building site. Working with partners BDP and Lambert Smith Hampton an ambitious pitch has been created to transform this desirable location, directly opposite Sheffield Train Station with Sheaf Street and Pond Street on either side. The development would feature restaurants, a hotel, conferencing facilities and residential units. The news has been covered in The Star, The Sheffield Telegraph
