UKAT Tutoring Matters

Will discuss the importance of supporting international students through personal tutoring and give an insight into the types of support commonly sought by international student cohorts. We will also provide some case studies and examples of how personal tutoring can be tailored to support students from a wide range of backgrounds.
About the Presenters
Louisa Hill is an Associate Professor at Leeds University Business School, specialising in teaching and learning, and specifically internationalisation in the classroom. She has many years’ experience of tutoring students from a wide range of cultural and academic backgrounds.
Nicola Smith is a Senior Teaching Fellow at Leeds Business School and programme director for a master’s programme with a large international cohort. She is an experienced personal tutor.
