Welcome to Academic Advising at SHU

Did you know that The University’s Academic Advice Framework updates and replaces the former Academic and Professional Advice Framework in response to the Shaping Futures Pillar Board priorities?

This revised framework supports the requirement that every student has a named Academic Adviser. The intention of the framework is to ensure a consistent approach to academic advising is taken based on staff having a common understanding of the expectations associated with the role.

Come and take a look at the Academic Advising site in further detail and don’t forget to subscribe to our site so that you hear about all the new developments and updates from the newly formed “Community of Practice“!
